Team up with friends to carry out the most difficult missions sent down to you by command. These missions will differ depending on the vehicle selected. Only well coordinated squads will be able to outwit the enemy! The enemy’s superior forces, controlled by artificial intelligence, will present a serious obstacle to victory.
Players can obtain vehicles in five vehicle classes: Main battle tanks (MBTs), AFVs (armored fighting vehicles), light tanks, tank destroyers, and artillery from Non-player character weapon dealers. MBTs such as the M1A1, Challenger 1 and the T-90 are the traditional heavy armor, built for maximum firepower and absorbing damage. AFVs such as the M2 Bradley, BMP-3 and the Warrior are highly mobile and well-suited for spotting enemies and remaining concealed. Self-Propelled Guns or artillery such as the M109, Palmaria and the PzH 2000 utilizes indirect fire to deal damage to enemy vehicles at long range. Tank Destroyers such as the M1128 MGS, and the B1 Centauro mount the same high-damage guns as the main battle tanks, but on a much lighter and more mobile platform with better camouflage. Light tanks such as the Stingray and XM8 are lightly armored and more mobile versions of the main battle tanks, effective at flanking and making rapid maneuvers, but far less capable of absorbing or deflecting damage.
Armored Warfare will offer players a wide array of vehicle and base customization options. It will be possible to unlock additional vehicles and equipment as players progress through the game as well as visually customize their vehicles.
